We fought in the 80s to keep open 5 Hosp 3 of which specifically for Women…replaced in 90s by one=LWH! now we face the threat of losing our last one, a Women’s Hospital is not just a Unit you can add on or into another! Women’s Health is wide, varied and sometimes v complex, Staff at every level will have built up a lifetime of knowledge and expertise, the history of Women’s Maternity/Medicine in Liverpool goes back a v v long time, it’s all there in the Archives and we should be proud, don’t let them destroy this dedicated facility please….
